High Speed Insert Thermal Heat Staker

High Speed Insert Thermal Heat Staker thermal assembly systems make use of direct contact heated tools with precisely controlled time, temperature, pressure and cooling, to heat stake molding to reform plastic studs, walls, and protrusions, or to embed metal components into plastic. This equipment offers the ability to perform multiple operations on several planes simultaneously. Cycle times are relatively fast, and productivity can be increased through the assembly of multiple products. Cosmetics are so exceptional that heat staking appears to be an extension of the molding process.

Hot Tool Cold Insert High Speed (HTCI-H) SERIES 4500

The Trinetics Model 4500 is a state of the art Hot Tool Cold Insert (HTCI) machine for inserting plastic or metal inserts, helicoils, studs. It incorporates a rapid cycle time servo linear actuator that provides economical, highly accurate and repeatable performance. The machines are delivered ready for plug and play operation or that have been customized to meet the users operationally specific requirements for many plastic welding contract services our customers may require.

This Machine is designed for ease of maintenance with simple and minimum set up procedures. For example, three dimensional XYZ adjustment for insert placement is pre-programmed into an HMI (operator touch panel) that interfaces with a servo controlled positioning table and servo linear slide. This electronic coupling process insures that the Model 4500 is of a high accuracy and tight tolerance positioning device.
